Your annotations are drawn onto the page and saved as a new, flattened PDF that looks the same in any reader. The page text in that copy can no longer be selected.

Step by step
How to add text or a signature to a PDF
- Open Tools → Edit & annotate and choose a PDF — or tap a file and pick Edit from its quick actions.
- Pick a tool from the toolbar: Text, Highlight, Draw, a shape, Note, Stamp or Image.
- For a signature choose Signature, draw it once and save it; place it on the page and resize it to fit.
- Tap Save & Exit. The edited copy is saved in the PDFReader/Edited folder and your original stays untouched.

Before you start
Annotate, not retype
The editor adds text and markup on top of the page. To change the original wording, convert with PDF to Word, edit it, then convert back.
Works offline
Editing and signing happen on the device. Your document and your saved signature are not uploaded.

Can I sign a PDF on Android with this app?
Yes. Choose the Signature tool, draw your signature with a finger and place it. It is saved for reuse on the next document.
Does editing change my original PDF?
No. Save & Exit writes a new file to PDFReader/Edited and leaves the original as it was.
Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?
The editor adds text, highlights, drawings and images on top of a page rather than rewriting the text already in it. For wording changes, use PDF to Word.
