Yes, the app is free and is funded by ads. Banner and full-screen ads appear around the Home, Files and Tools screens, never while a document is open. When some tools finish, the app may ask you to watch a short video before the new file is saved; if you are offline or no video is available, the file is saved anyway. You can also watch three rewarded videos to hide ads for 24 hours. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Android 8.1 (API 27) and later, on phones and tablets. There is no iPhone, Windows or web version.

English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian and Arabic. Arabic uses a fully mirrored right-to-left layout. The app follows your Android language, and you can change it in Settings.

Yes. Every document tool works offline, including Word to PDF, PDF to Word and OCR, because the conversion engines and text-recognition models are built into the app.

Yes. Choose Open with → PDF Reader and the file opens straight into the reader and appears in Recent. Sharing a .docx file or photos to the app starts Word to PDF or Image to PDF with the file already attached.

No. Reading, editing, scanning, OCR, conversion, merging, splitting, compression and password protection all run on your Android device. The app has no upload feature and no cloud storage. Its internet connection is used for advertising, app configuration, crash reports and Google Play updates — never for your documents.

No account details and never your documents. Google services in the app collect technical data such as the advertising ID, device model and usage events for ads, analytics and crash reports. Where the law requires it you are asked for consent first, and you can change it in Settings → Ad privacy options. The Privacy Policy lists everything.

To find the PDFs already on your phone and show them in your library. You can skip it and open files from your file manager, email or chat app instead. The camera is used only by Scan to PDF, and photos are chosen in Android's own photo picker, so the app never asks for access to your whole gallery.

Yes, when you know the password. You can also save an unlocked copy with Unlock PDF. The app cannot remove protection from a document you can't already open.

Lock PDF encrypts a copy of your document with AES-256, the strongest standard PDF encryption, and can also block printing, copying, editing or form filling. There is no way to recover a forgotten password, so store it safely.

Merge, split, organize and rotate keep every page as it was, including selectable text, links, bookmarks and form fields. Compress PDF re-encodes only the images inside the file at the level you choose; the optional Flatten to images mode turns each page into a picture for the smallest scans, and then text can no longer be searched or copied.

PDF to text and Make searchable read English and other Latin-script languages (such as Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Indonesian), and Devanagari for Hindi and Marathi. Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu and Arabic text can't be recognized yet.

Word to PDF accepts .docx files; older .doc files need to be saved as .docx in Word first. PDF to Word creates a .docx. Excel and PowerPoint conversion is not available.

The editor adds text, highlights, drawings, shapes, images and signatures on top of the page rather than rewriting the words already there. To change the wording, convert with PDF to Word, edit the document, then convert it back with Word to PDF.

Interactive form fields are shown and kept intact, but typing into them is not supported yet. You can place text and a signature on a form with the editor.

A signature drawn in the app is an image placed on the page, not a certificate-based digital signature. Whether it is accepted depends on the document and your local law.

In the app's PDFReader folder, sorted into sub-folders such as Merged, Split and Converted. Open or share any result from the success sheet. Android deletes this folder if you uninstall the app, so use Move to folder… or Share for files you want to keep. Your original documents are never modified.
